Glen K. Goodman, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Goodman is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained in corneal and external disease service. He specializes in ophthalmic surgical procedures, comprehensive and preventative eye care, as well as conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and corneal issues.

As Medical Director and owner of the Cataract Surgery Center of Milford, a Medicare-certified multi-physician ophthalmology ambulatory surgical center, Dr. Goodman has performed over 10,000 cataract, laser, and numerous other surgeries. In addition to his practice at ReFocus Eye Surgery Center in Waterbury, Dr. Goodman also maintains appointments at Waterbury Hospital and Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston.

In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Goodman has contributed to and published research on various topics. He established and funds the Dorothy and Kenneth Goodman Memorial Science Scholarship, awarded annually at his alma mater, King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham, MA, in honor of his late parents. When he doesn’t see patients, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Rachel.
