Dr. James Pasternack is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and has practiced ophthalmology since 1988. He graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology and received his medical degree at New Jersey Medical School. He completed residency at Bethesda Naval Hospital and a Fellowship in Glaucoma at Tufts University – New England Medical Center. Dr. Pasternack is an Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut. He has volunteered for several overseas surgical eye projects.
Dr. Pasternack is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. He is on staff at The Eye Surgery Center, Hartford Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital, and The Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
