Dr. Goyal is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, cataracts, lens implants, minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and refractive lens exchange.
Dr. Goyal earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed his internship at Evanston Hospital, Northwestern University. Dr. Goyal served as Chief Resident during his New York Medical College ophthalmology residency. He gained his fellowship training in corneal and refractive surgery at the University of Florida’s Shands Eye Clinic.
Dr. Goyal has been in private practice since 2001 and has performed 15,000+ ocular surgeries/lasers. In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Goyal has conducted research and presented at annual meetings and lecture series.
Dr. Goyal is an avid sports fan in his spare time and enjoys traveling with his family.
